Hello!! I’m in need of a HUGE signal boost right now (and maybe a big reporting session) because my best friend is being blackmailed by her ex boyfriend.

I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to put here, but I feel like this should be a warning for anyone who knows him and just a general informative thing. Jacob lives in Australia and is 16 years of age. They’ve had a very unhealthy relationship and he’s threatened sending out her nudes multiple times. Jacob is very manipulative and emotionally abusive towards her and even ends up pulling me and her other friends into not being able to do anything because it’ll end up hurting her. He’s made around 7 Twitter accounts to contact my friend in the times that she was trying to get out of the relationship.

In the picture above, he’s posted her nudes and threatened her.

ALL IM ASKING IS FOR YOU TO REPORT HIM ON EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING:

His Twitter accounts all start with @/neinthousand but the one that was most recently used was: @/neinthousand12 (but it was apparently deleted)

His Facebook account is:Jacob R Hynes, and he has more but I am unable to find them. They’re under Jacob Hynes and the like.

********** UPDATES!!! **********

First, we thought we had a compromise.

Then this happened not even a minute after:

PLEASE CONTINUE REBLOGGING THIS. My friend is only 15 years of age and this is absolutely horrible. We’re getting ahold of local authorities but if you see the pictures anywhere (namely twitter) REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY.

this nigga on to something

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Don’t quote scripture to critique the church if you don’t know that you’re quoting it wrong to begin with.

Yeah well the church sure seems to love money but don’t seem never do anything to benefit the community with it, but i see them Pastors rolling around with brand new Bentley.

Where?

When these discussion take place, people bring up mega churches as though they are the only churches in the world.

There are  litterally hundreds if not thousands of broke churches with small/aging congregations where the pastor is working one if not two jobs.

Sip your tea and think again before coming for me.

Ain’t no one “coming for you” boo, i’m allowed to voice my opinion too. I’m not talking about mega churches, i’m talking about local ones, I’ve been to several all over the country and they always asking for more and more money but a very small amount of it, if any goes back to the community or into improving the church.

I’m not going to play the “not all churches” game. But let’s not pretend like churches are exactly the most caring and honest organizations on earth. I mean Westboro Baptist is a church too, churches are also the people who are responsible for a lot of the evil and cultural stripping across the globe.

Its always somebody putting they 2 cents in the mix standing up for churches yet it was white folks who handed us the good book and we got left in chains ( physically and mentally) and our motherland was raped of resources. Yet yall still believe everything in the good book, but what good has it really done for us?

onlyblackgirl I’m sorry for the quick retort. I had the screen inhalf and didn’t catch all of what you said

afrotumble the black christian church predates slavery.  The Christianity that slaves were given was limited to scriptures that would keep them in bondage and obedient. IT was not the entire bible. Part of the reason they slaves were not permitted to read, is that whole part about Moses setting the slaves Free and God calling the slaves his chosen people.  Then there are scriptures about who the son set’s free is free indeed etc. God was not for  the slavery that our ancestors was under.

Furthermore, once the slaves were permitted to read and found out the truth I’m pretty sure it was the faith that God would get them out that spurned  lot of them on. It’s how song’s like Wade in the Water got a lot of people to freedom.

I’ll admit there are a lot of thing wrong with the black church. Sexism, misogyny homophobia, pedophilia, a lack of discussion if not denial of mental health being an issue, silence between denominations,  in activeness in the community, respectability politics, etc.

But the myth that black mega church’s is a norm is just that a myth and being that whole if slavery hadn’t happened black Christians just wouldn’t be thing is a myth too.

"Christian" colonizers did and have abused the bible as have Muslim colonizers as have abused the Koran when they had african slaves as well.

I understand why people may not want to go to church. I really do. But don’t let these two things be the reason why.

This still doesn’t answer my question. The Black Church Died with MLK and all other civil rights activists who were martyrs in that time. Now it is just a pacifier of black suffering. We still are oppressed and no real change has occurred. So once again what good has the black church done? Or Christianity in that matter? And all those negatives you mentioned are very very big issue im the black community that we sweep under the rug. Mental slavery still is alive and very well.

I’m not sure what answer you want. The black church hasn’t been unified since well, the beginning. There has always been denominations and even during MLK days, the baptist church was more so involved than other churches.

The choice of Christianity for black people, just like any other people, is a personal choice. So just like you as a someone who doesn’t subscribe to it will have many reasons as to why not believing has done great things for you  and why black Christians shouldn’t that may be different from another black person that doesn’t believe, Black Christians will have their own personal reasons why it is great for them and why not believing isn’t.

I do agree with you that many black churches are not helpful in the community. They are scared to come out and are stuck on themselves and religion. However there are some out there doing good in different ways. If that is something that you are interested in, you may want to talk to them there.

You could help in their homeless shelters or food bank. There are quite a few in my area that do great things in the black community although there are more that don’t.

always turning a fucking joke into something deep as fuck. like let a nigga laugh and not have to read some ignorant ass lecture. yes, ignorant. it’s ignorant because based on the tone you think you’re entitled to share ya dumbfuck opinion.
